Sales Representative
This role will focus on our growth strategy, helping to develop and execute our sales plan, acquiring new customers, building key client relationships, and ensuring customer success. You will serve as the main point of contact for customer accounts, acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and understanding customer needs. You will work closely with multiple departments internally including marketing, engineering, product development, and leadership, to provide a seamless and exceptional customer experience. This position can be full-time or contract. This is a local position, must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads and conduct first meetings with prospects, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating our value proposition.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on our products and services
- Proactively manage and move leads through the pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking of customer interactions.
- Actively seek out and prospect new customers to expand the customer base.
- Manage negotiations, handle objections, and work towards closing deals by securing signed contracts or agreements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Manage day-to-day customer account activities, schedule, prep, and coordinate customer calls, check-ins, and demonstrations.
- Proactively raise issues to the team and follow through with resolutions and plans.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, product development, and leadership teams to align customer advocacy efforts with overall business objectives.
- Maintain revenue forecasts and produce reports on Account Status, Sales Performance, and CRM.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively address customer concerns and identify opportunities for growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise software sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer success, account management, or sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, engineering, and product development.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales pipeline management tools.
- Familiarity with customer advocacy and customer success methodologies is a plus.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel if needed.
