Numenta Challenge: Submit Entry
Steps for Submission
When you are ready to submit your application to the challenge, do the following:
- Have your application running on one of the supported platforms: Macintosh, Windows, or Linux.
- Build an executable of your application, for one of the supported platforms (if applicable).
- Write up build instructions for building your application from source. Include a list of required third party libraries and descriptions. If applicable (and legal) include the third party libraries.
- Package the source and build instructions together, removing any extraneous files like unnecessary objs, precompiled python files, etc.
- Write documentation on how to run and use the application.
- Write a readme.txt file, which needs to include:
- Your name
- Home mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Name of the application
- application description
- Descriptions of files in archive, including binaries, documentation, etc.
- Archive the contents in a known format (tar, gzip, or zip).
- Submit your entry through one of the methods below.
Online Submission
We are accepting entries between June 23 and September 22, 2008.
Mail Submission
If you don't have a fast Internet connection, or would prefer to send it to us through the mail, just follow these simple instructions:
- Follow the Steps for Submission to ensure that your product meets our requirements.
- Write your submission archive on a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM in a format readable by Macintosh or Windows machines (typically this is the ISO-9660 format for CDs and the UDF format for DVDs).
- Package in a disk mailer and send to:
